TEACHING

35 years of studies, 20 years of concerts and international competitions, 15 years of activity as principal cellist in symphonic and opera orchestras, and already over 10 years of frontal teaching with students of all nationalities, ages and levels. 

This is the wealth of experience that with dedication and passion I pass on to my pupils to whom I try to deliver a way of playing the cello based on: 

• rigor and discipline of instrumental technique (inherited from my Russian teacher). 

• research of sound quality in terms of density and color (learned in the long years of activity in the orchestra) 

• musical imagination and search for a more vocal and lyrical than instrumental expressiveness (derived from my Italian culture and proximity to the world of opera).

Together with the student I define the targets and strategies to achieve them: the student is guided to obtain better technical skills and to develop his musical personality.
